He was predeceased by: his father Allen G. Lipscomb; and his stepson JJ Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Debora A. Lipscomb; his daughters, Jessie Stricklin Kyle (Eric) of Apex, NC and Dani Stricklin Payne (Phillip) of Wilmington, NC; his mother Opal Vickers Lipscomb of Pomeroy, OH; his grandchildren, Emma and Easton Kyle; his siblings, Linda (Ronnie Eastman), David (Cindy Lipscomb), Carolyn (Allen Page) and Eric (Becky Lipscomb); his son Joseph Rutchi; and his stepdaughter Melody Lawrence Bailey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
