It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Clayton of Friendly, West Virginia, born in Sistersville, West Virginia, who passed away on November 24, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Clayton and Opal Gulley Clayton Weekley; his wife Elizabeth "Peach" Clayton; and his brothers, Robert Clayton and Lawrence Clayton, Jr..

He is survived by : his daughters, Lisa Northcraft (David) of Friendly, WV, Beth Costa (Tony) of Onsted, MI and Kristy Banta (Ryan) of Friendly, WV; and his siblings, Freda Rice and Homer Clayton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
