He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard R. Cox and Goldie G. Rhodes Cox; his wife Hazel V. Harper Cox; and his brothers, Roy, Mayford and Harold.

He is survived by : his son Randy A. Cox of Gandeeville; and his siblings, Robert, Ernest, Edward, Richard, Alice, Lorraine and Rita.
