With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nellie Gay King Lockhart of Gassaway, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley King and Gladys Ilene Brown King; her son Michael Bryan Lockhart; and her siblings, Louise King Climer, Emogene King Ross, Edith King Dobbins, Estel King Hughes, Leonard King, Norma King Hashman, Linda King and Bill King.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Lockhart Shrader (Mark); her grandchildren, Michael Lockhart Jr. (Danielle), Amelia Shrader, Benjamin Shrader and Cohen Shrader; her great grandchild Elaina Lockhart; her siblings, Jim King (Loretta) and Phyllis King Jones; and her sister-in-law Janet King.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Roach Funeral Home (708 Braxton St, Gassaway, WV 26624). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at the Sugar Creek Cemetery (2409 Elk River Rd, Gassaway, WV 26624).
