She was predeceased by : her parents, William Wesley Shirley and Gertrude Garland Hall Shirley; and her husband David Smallwood. She is survived by : her children, Patricia Talbert, Barbie Lantz and Mary Stevens; and her brother Rodney Shirley (family: Glendora). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
