He was predeceased by : his mother Stella Bowens Hodge; and his siblings, Wendel Hodge, David Hodge, Glen "Butch" Hodge, Jr. and Cathy Hodge.

He is survived by : his wife Connie Marcum; his sons, Ronnie Marcum, Jr. (Vanessa) of Dingess, W. V and Jeffrey Marcum of Wayne; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Marcum of Dingess, Latanya Marcum Ferguson (Corey) of Wayne, Madison Hope Marcum of Lavalette, W. V and Chase Lee Marcum of Dingess.
