He was predeceased by : his parents, Arlin Layne and Lola Layne (Browning); and his siblings, Ronald, Teddy Layne, Nancy Layne and Vicky Marsingill.
He is survived by : his children, Misty Hightower of Charleston, Joey Layne (Angela) of Charleston and Denver Layne of Ohio; his grandchildren, Gracie Satterwhite, Noah and Alexis Hightower of Alabama; his siblings, Larry Layne of Kentucky and LaDawn Browning of Coal Mountain, WV.; and his niece Jenny Caldwell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.
