He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Lee and Katherine Mae Hoffman Ridgeway; his son Brian Keith Ridgeway; and his brothers, Arthur, Lewis and Richard Ridgeway.

He is survived by : his children, Eddy Gene Ridgeway (Glenda) of Paw Paw, WV, Connie Rae Willey (Joe) of Berkeley Springs, WV and Kevin Joe Ridgeway (Wendy) of Hagerstown, MD; his siblings, Joann Herrell of Charles Town, WV and Ronald Ridgeway of Great Cacapon; and his grandchildren, L. G. Ridgeway of Paw Paw, Justin Ridgeway of Olney, MD, Kacey Honycutt of Boonsboro, MD, Tyler Ridgeway of Gainesboro, VA, Heather Hoover of Berkeley Springs, Shonda Clark of Berkeley Springs, Gretchen Shives of Berkeley Springs, Brittany Harding of Hagerstown, MD and Brandon Sisler of Chambersburg, PA. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
