He was predeceased by: his father Danny Adkins. He is survived by: his mother Sylvia Adkins of Hamlin, W. V; his sister Paula Hughes (Barry) of Hamlin, W. V; and his sibling's children, Loral Johnson of Charleston, S. C. and Scott Coleman of Hamlin, W. V.
