She is survived by: her parent Caroline Powers Thorne; her husband Jim Mitchell; her children, Heather Yarnall of Myrtle Beach, SC, Amanda Mitchell (Steven Okamoto) of Pittsburgh, PA and Justin Mitchell of Harpers Ferry; her grandson Kieran Okamoto; and her sisters, Jonni Hunt, Mary Lynn Contee and Betty Lincolnhoker.
