He was predeceased by: his parent Edwin Franklin Pope. He is survived by: his parent Mary Esta Pauline Lilla; his spouse Nancy; his daughters, Joanna (Aaron), Mahala (Cole) and Jade (Jonah); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Bradley, Jaelin and Jossalyn; his siblings, Lynne, Pam and Tom; and his nieces, Karen and Beth.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bolivar Pentecostal Church, 87 Old Taylor Lane, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425 or Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
