He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Charles Winterstine, Sr. and Gladys Marie Smith Winterstine; and his siblings, Frank "Buster" Winterstine, Jr., Earl Winterstine, Yvonne Lloyd and Louise Peckins.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda of Harpers Ferry; his children, Joann Frye (Charles) of Martinsburg, WV and John Joseph Winterstine, Jr. of Alexandria, VA; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Jordan Boyd; and his sister Mary Winterstine.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Bible Church (160 Daniel Rd, Shenandoah Junction, WV 25442). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
