In the sacred silence of farewell, Mary Catherine is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mary Catherine's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her sons, Robert (April) of Bluffton, SC and Joseph (Stacey) of Lovettsville, VA.; and her grandchildren, Meaghan Hoffman, Thomas Vacca, Mikaela Vacca, Tim Vacca, Brady Vacca, Kennedy Vacca and Mason Vacca.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home (256 Halltown Rd, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation kidney.org.
