She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart Boyd Wharton and Ella May Wharton; her former husband Ronald Mills; her husband Ronald Lemon; and her siblings, Ophelia Ormdorff, Stewart Wharton, Beverly Catlett and Buddy Wharton.
She is survived by: her brothers, John and Charles Wharton; her children, David Mills Robert Mills (Shari), Brenda Grove (Dennis) and Tammy Boyd (Robert); her stepchildren, J. B. Lemon and Kathy McCracken (Bo); her grandchildren, Brandy, David Lee, Tiffany, Ronnie, Kristen and Chelsey; and her stepgrandchildren, Shelby, Adam, Ronnie, Ashley, Amy and Andy.
Viewing was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home (256 Halltown Rd, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
