He is survived by : his son Josh; his wife Peggy Adkins of Harts; his children, Joshua Adkins of Harts, Stacy Chaffin of Varney, Bernice Blankenship (Shanan) of Varney, Rosalee Ooten of Varney, Melody Reed (Roger Gibson) of Varney and Kayla Elliott (Michael) of South Charleston, WV; his siblings, Rose Darby of Logan, Dora Workman of Logan, Merrill Adkins (Barbara) of Harts, Ronnie Adkins of Texas, Jerry Adkins (Margaret) of Kentucky and Richard Stanley Adkins (Wanda) of Harts; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Hughes.
