He was predeceased by : his parents, Hubert Lester Dodson and Flossie Ann Burcker Dodson; his wife Pat Novak Dodson; and his siblings, EJ, Dickie, Elizabeth, Joyce, Vanda, Mary and Janice.

He is survived by : his children, Brian Dodson (Stephanie) and Shelley Brock (Randy); his grandchildren, Blake, Brooke, Tyler (Mikayla), Jordan (Chloe) and Hunter (Olivia); his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Mark and Dayna; and his sisters, Martha and Margaret.

Memorial contributions may be made to Musselman Football Boosters or the Berkeley County Humane Society.
