He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Buddy" Cox and Sylvia Loretta Reeves Cox; and his siblings, Debra Mae Martin and Danny Cox. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Cox; his stepchildren, Melvin Prevento Jr. (Peggy) of Welch and Margaret Clemins (Richard) of North Welch; his siblings, Donald Cox (Roxie) of Pinnacle, NC and Dee Dee Mabe (John) of King, NC; and his stepgrandchildren, Coda Bowen (Ashley), Skye Bowen, Briana Prevento, Tiffany Toler, Brittany Hughes and Kellie Toler.
Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, masks are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced.
