He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Lee and Edith Mae Cotton Young. He is survived by : his son Brian (Conni); his grandchildren, Harper and Holt of Columbia; his son Chris (Murray); his grandsons, Porter and Austin of Sullivans Island, SC.; the mother of his children Sue Duncan Young of Mount Pleasant, SC.; his brothers, Harry (Susan) of Winnsboro, SC, Ronny (Mary Ann) of Cross, SC and Tommy (Kandi) of Hopkins, SC; and his close friends, Gary and Brenda Grice Wiggins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
