It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John T. Vance Jr. of Holden, West Virginia, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Early Edward and Zettie Marie Vance (White); his wife Betty Jo Vance (Brown); his daughters, Helen Viars and Jewell Vance; his great great grandchild Oliver Hensley; and his siblings, Edward "Hooker" Vance, Charles Vance, Marie Bryant and Betty Shadd.
He is survived by : his children, Tennis R. Vance and Betty June Meade of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, John T. Viars (Wanda), Janey Flournoy (Steven) of Roanoke, VA, Daniel Vance (Dana) of Springfield, OH, Aimie Mosier (Brian) of Richmond, VA and Elisha Meade (LaShell) of Richmond, VA; and his siblings, Mary Patrick of King Shoals, Janice Gross of Logan, Clifford Vance of King Shoals, Rev. Roy Vance of King Shoals and Leonard Vance of Chapmanville. He is also survived by other relatives, church family, and friends.
