He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Adkins (Thena) and Lilly Gillman; his stepfather Eddie Gillman; his siblings, James Tomblin, Elsie Collins and Wilma Lucas; his son Kenny Adkins Jr.; his granddaughter Haley Adkins; his wife Tammy; his children, Mike Adkins (Ashley) and Brittany Adkins Frye; his daughter-in-law Amanda Adkins (Kenny); his grandchildren, Cameron, Carson (Cade Frye), Ian (Brayden Farley) and Laci Adkins; his siblings, Viola Meade (Robert), Linda Cox (Ed), Florence Gallimore (Buddy), Dennis Adkins (Kathy), Donald Adkins (Devauna), Bruce Adkins (Brenda), Gary Adkins (Deidre), Denver Tomblin (Carol), Rodney Tomblin (Cathy), Taylor Tomblin (Marsha), Kenny Tomblin (Tammy) and Monroe Tomblin (Tilda); his brothers-in-law, Dave Collins and Danny Lucas; his pet Bella; and his uncle Kenny. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
