She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Ernest L. Handy; her grandchildren, James Cremeans Jr., David L. Handy and Debra K. Handy; and her daughter-in-law Brenda Handy.
She is survived by: her children, Ernest Handy Jr., Frances Knight (Danny) of Hedgesville, WV, Carol Cremeans (Jim) of Hurricane and Connie Ellis (Clyde) of Hurricane; and her sister-in-law Geraldine Hanson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren with another great-great grandchild.
