He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Ella (Foster); and his parents, Flora (Bird) and Alfred "Fred" Holcomb. He is survived by: his children, Norman D. Holcomb Jr. (Jacquine) and Kimberly Ann Mitchell (Eric); his siblings, Noel Lee (Della), Keith (Patsy), Destil St (Grova), Gary (Jomayne), Roger, Terry (Paula), Nina Zinn (Luther), Kathy Holly (Frank "Kayo"), Sharon Steele, Kay Miller (Jack Mullins) and Beverly Dean; his sister-in-law Shirley Harold; and his granddaughter Molly Garretson (Jake). He is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren, 4 step-great grandchildren, 47 nieces and nephews, 67 great nieces and nephews, and 27 great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be given to the Veterans Affairs Huntington WV.
