She was predeceased by : her parents, Anfield Shifflett and Lena Shifflett; her daughter Donna Sue Shifflett; her grandson Justin; and her siblings, Anna Mae "Peggy" Brannon, Dorothy McFarland, Donnie, Arthur, Paul, David and Charles Shifflett. She is also survived by her grandchildren who affectionately called her "Grammy", "Nana".
