He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Hartley Sr. and Mary Julia Gregory Hartley; and his son Josh Mercer. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Arvin Hartley (Jackie); his children, Jessica Redden (Jon), Robbie Hartley (Lauren) and Zach Mercer (Kelsey); his brother Thomas Hartley (Debbie); and his grandchildren, Sydney Knisely (Randy Kerns), John, William, Evan, Lilley, Noelle, Isabella Redden, Stella Mercer and Sara Elizabeth Hartley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Life Community Church (4102 Tabler Station Rd, Inwood, WV 25428). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
