We bid farewell to Teroy Allen Friend of Ivydale, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 18, 2025 at the age of 31. Teroy Allen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Jason Friend; his uncle Aaron DeWitt; and his grandparents, Russell and Mary Friend. He is survived by: his wife Jessica Friend; his children, Harper Cooper, Jason Michael "Kole" Friend and Meelah Friend; his mother Rita Evans (Mike); his siblings, Victoria Tichinel (Jason), Tabitha Friend, Jenna Friend and Gage Friend; his stepsisters, Alayna Beckman, Leah Beckman and Christy McClung (Brandon); his grandparents, Fred, Sharon Tasker, Butch, Doris Ashby, Robert Harper Sr. (Bob) and Alice Groves (James); his aunts, Lacey Baker (Walter), Tammy Ashby, Tiffany Bowman (Sam), Cynthia Uphole and Alicia Uphole; his uncle Robert Harper (Nina); his stepmothers, Joy Friend and April Walsh; his mother-in-law Mitzie Foster; and his brother-in-law Josh Adkins. He is also survived by 4 nephews and 1 niece.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gassaway Baptist Church (56 Beall Dr, Gassaway, WV 26624). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to support the family with unexpected funeral expenses in Teroy's honor.
