With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hannah M. Anderson-Obey of Jenkinjones, West Virginia, born in Welch, West Virginia, who passed away on November 29, 2022 at the age of 64. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Sr. Anderson and Bertha Anderson (Johnson); her children, Katherine and Donald Jr.; her brother Harry Jr.; her aunt Anna; her uncle Claude Rucker; and her mother-in-law Lois Obey.
She is survived by: her husband Donald A. Obey Sr.; her children, Thomas Obey (Taylor Morgan) of Jenkinjones, Ala, Isaiah Obey, Cortnei Woody of Bluefield, WV and Jacob Obey; her grandchildren, Lauren, LaTasha of Roger, II., Nevaeh, Aliyah, J'neyah, Isaiah and Airreahna; her brother Silas Anderson of Bluewell, WV; her father-in-law Clarence "Bo" Obey of Jenkinjones; and her son-in-law Eric Jones of North Carolina. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, her nephews, nieces and cousins. her many friends and neighbors.
