With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Don Stacey of Jolo, West Virginia, who passed away on April 8, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Ed Stacy and Ethel Payne Bales; his son Eric Willard Stacey; his stepfather Charlie Bales; his grandson A. J. Corey; his brothers, Hobert Stacey and James Bales; and his mother-in-law Dorothy Riffe.
He is survived by : his wife Louise Riffe Stacey of Jolo, WV; his children, Don Stacey Jr. (Wendy) of Jolo, WV, Jamie Stacey (Tasha Smith) of Jolo, WV, Donna Gossic (Timmy) and Kim Hoggins; his siblings, Karen Sue Stacey of Wise, VA, Marilyn Bales Fonseca (Olimpo) of Tazewell, VA, Nancy Pruitt of Jolo, WV, Patricia Sturgill (Bobby Stacy) of Raysal, WV, Billy Stacey (Stephenia) of Atwell, WV, Charlie Bales Jr. (Doris) of Jolo, WV, Ray Bales (Hattie) of Statesville, NC, Roger Bales of Jolo, WV and Jeffery Bales of Statesville, NC.; his siblings-in-law, Gary Riffe (Kim) of Princeton, WV, Kirt Riffe (Verna "Yackie"), Tina Whitaker (Mike) of Richlands, VA and Sherry Riffe (Dale Holdren) of Princeton, WV; and his father-in-law Willard Rife of Jolo, WV. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
In observance of COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing will be observed, and the wearing of masks is required for attendance.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that any monetary donations be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses.
