She is survived by : her husband John Scott Scanlon; her daughters, Evelyn Ruiz Fores-Montero (Edwin) of Franklin, TN, Jolyam Ruiz Brinkman (John) of Kearneysville, WV and Sheila Ruiz Gelicame (Giancarlo) of Seattle, WA; her siblings, Reynaldo "Rey" Ruiz (Myrna) of Las Vegas, Erlinda Ruiz of Aurora, CO, Teresita Ruiz, Manila and Philippines; her sisters-in-law, Rita Ruiz, Cavite and Philippines; her grandchildren, Ellie, Katharine, Josephine of Liam, J. R., Gabriel, Gerald and Ginacarla; her siblings-in-law, Pat of Baytown, Mary of Austin and Tim (Carol) of Austin; and her former life partner Amor Briones Fores.
