She was predeceased by : her mother Mary Thomas; her former life partner Crum Benner; her husband Lee Hodge; and her siblings, Ethel Hostler, Pete, Elmer, Ed and James Price.

She is survived by : her son H. C. Benner of Martinsburg, WV; her grandson Hezikiah; and her siblings, Dorothy "Sally" Mastermonico, Martha James and Charles "Billy" Price. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
