We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2025, at the age of 89, Lois Carol McKenzie Nichols of Kenova, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Estell McKenzie and Anna Laura Jarrell McKenzie; her husband Charles Edward Nichols; her sons, John Mark Nichols, Michael Ray Nichols and Jeffrey Alan Nichols; and her siblings, Judy K. McKenzie, Beatrice McSorley, Mary Alice Osburn, Rosalie Myers, Rebecca Adams, Elaine Thompson, Glenn McKenzie, Wayne McKenzie and Thomas McKenzie.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Jean Moore, Marcia Bertram and Charles Martin Nichols; and her sisters, Nancy Kennedy and Sheri Denise Douglass. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Faith Church (1824R Sycamore St, Kenova, WV 25530). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
