He is survived by: his close friend Ruby Shugars; his children, Jason Matthew Hickey (S. Navy), Joshua Kevin Hickey (Erin Ballard) of Washington, DC, Mackenzie Danielle Hickey of Keyser, Jacob Preston Hickey of Keyser and Lee Shugars (Tiffany) of Keyser; his grandchildren, Olivia, Atlas Hickey, Brantley, Baylee, Charlie Shugars and Mchilee Cheshire; and his siblings, John Wayne Hickey (Anna) of Keyser, Joseph Lawrence Hickey of Keyser, Kenneth Daniel Hickey (Sherry) of Keyser, Helen Mae Markle (Kenny) of Keyser, Alma Pauline Frazier of Keyser, Evelyn Grapes (Robert) of Cross, WV, Rosemary Citarelli (John) of Keyser, Charlotte Ann Cook (Eddie) of Keyser and Ellen Broadwater (Richard) of Keyser. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
