He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. "Buck" and Nellie Mae Armentrout (Rohrbaugh); his son Matthew Armentrout; and his brother-in-law John Ruble. He is survived by: his former wife Shirley Mae Casto; his sons, Nathaniel R. Armentrout (Rebecca Ahern) of Keyser and Jonathan R. Armentrout (Ivy Rose) of Keyser; his grandson Anderson Sage Armentrout; his sisters, Linda M. Evans (Robert "Bucky") of Keyser and Janet Lee Ruble of Elk Garden, WV; and his sister-in-law Betty J. Armentrout of Keyser.
