He is survived by: his wife Karen Hyers (Hacker); his children, Christopher Hyers (Cathie) of Puyallup, WA, Gary Hyers of Green Bank, NJ and Dawn Boggs (Bill) of Keyser, WV; his grandchildren, Jordan, Arianna Hyers, Aaron (Mariah Durr) and Harris Boggs; and his brother Ronald Hyers (Helyn White).
