It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Koch Jr. in Kingwood, West Virginia, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Ann Greaser; his parents, Frederick J. Koch, Sr. of Koch's Esso Servicenter and Rosella V. Hinebaugh Koch; his wife Carolyn "Kate" Koch; his sister Cindy Koch Fields; his in-laws, Joseph Bernard and Margaret Bickford Greaser; his son-in-law Charles Richard Goff; and his grandson Bryson Frederick Koch (Robert Greaser).
He is survived by: his children, Candace Liston (Sam), Freddie Koch (Jane), Steve Koch (Vicki) and Kelly Mitchell (Richard); his grandchildren, Brooks Liston (Cyndi), Courtney Kirby (Scott), Katelyn Preston (Jeremy), Ross Koch, Heather Robba (Ryan), Mitchell Koch (Kay), Colton Goff and Madison Goff (Rob Thompson); his great grandchildren, Abby Conley (Logan), Lacey Oates (Jacob), Beau Liston (Haley), Caroline Kirby, Kendall Kirby (Ricky Lane), Mia, Amelia Preston, Roane, Lainey Robba and Calvin Goff of Brooks Koch; and his granddaughter Patricia Greaser.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kingwood Funeral Home (295 S Price St, Kingwood, WV 26537). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Sebastian Catholic Church (324 E Main St, Kingwood, WV 26537).
