He is survived by: his wife Brenda Powell; his children, Kenneth Powell (Tracy) of Freeport, FL, Justin Powell of Nashville, TN and Larrisa Powell (Adam) of Left Hand; and his sister Sarah Smith of Texas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
