She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley L. Wise and Elsie Mae Banta Wise; her husband Thomas Daniel McGurty; her granddaughter Kandis Renee Brown; and her siblings, William Wise, Jerry Wise, Janet Curry and Shirley Sinks.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Miller; her son-in-law Lee; her close friend Jerry Linton; her sister Eileen Yount (Ronald); her siblings-in-law, Marlin Sink, Debbie and Jackie McGurty; her grandson John Thomas Smith (Mary Queen); her great grandchildren, Noah, Ethan, Madilyn, Brayden, Isabella, Kegan, Lilly, Kain, Scarlette and Chloe; and also Angela Linton (Kevin Deitz). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home (252 Montvue Dr, Lewisburg, WV 24901). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
