It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda Gail Gurney of Lewisburg, West Virginia, who passed away on November 19, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Brenda leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Deeds and Lahoma Harris Deeds. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Gurney; her daughter Susan Grimmett; her grandchildren, Dakota Lockhart, Malcolm Grimmett and Mikayla Schiabo; her aunt Beverly Harris; and her cousin Allen Brown (Kim). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Pence Springs Community Church.
