He was predeceased by : his parents, Marion Montgomery (Conner) and Kyle Montgomery, Sr.; and his siblings, Lillie Donaldson, Victoria Howard, Ruth Brown, Miss Gladys Montgomery and Robert Montgomery.

He is survived by : his siblings, Lucy Jane Godfrey and Kyle "Popeye" Montgomery, Jr. (Antoinette). He is also survived by children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic and the Governor's guidelines for large gatherings only 25 people will be allowed in the facility at one time.
