He was predeceased by: his stepfather Thomas Artist; his grandparents, Junior, Bea Falrey, William and Thelma Collins; and his sibling's children, Aalyah Gootee and Joseph Gootee.
He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Farley of Rantoul, IL and Karen Artist of Chapmanville, WV.; his children, Emily Farley of Logan and Jesse Farley of Logan; his siblings, Joda Farley of Chapmanville and Rev. Tommy Artist of Chapmanville; his close friend Shirley Dingess; and his siblings' children, Athena Farley of Chapmanville and Demis Gootee of Illinois.
