He was predeceased by : his parents, William "Bill" Rakosi and Sarah Mullen Rakosi; his wife Ruth Ellen Moore Rakosi; his daughter Janice Copper; his sons-in-law, Blaine Gatian and Ralph Loveridge; and his siblings, Otis, Junior Rakosi and Helen Segatti.

He is survived by : his children, Janie Gatian of Granville, Janet Loveridge of Deltona, FL, Joyce Eddy (Rick) of Deltona and Gregory Allen Rakosi (Sandra Snyder) of Maidsville; his son-in-law Jack Copper of Tallahassee, FL.; his sister Evelyn Kerns; and his grandchildren, Jodi, Buffy, Blaine, Cori, John, Amy, Kelley, Stephanie, Michael, Brandon and Matthew. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
