It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cathy Barker of Mallory, West Virginia, who passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cathy Barker to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas F. McGrath and Mable Lighthizer McGrath; her husband Albert Barker; her daughter Debbie Barker; and her siblings, Clara Weaver, Esther Mercer, Lulamae McHenry, Carolyn Baughman, Mildred Kelso and Thomas F. McGrath.
She is survived by: her son Albert Barker Jr. of Charleston; her granddaughters, Chasity Barker of Mallory and Kathy Jo (John Browning) of Man; her great grandchild Lauren Jo Browning of Man; her brother-in-law Roger Baughman of Ohio; and her caregiver Lisa Curry of Mallory. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of cherished relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home, Inc. (115 Market St, Man, WV 25635). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
