She was predeceased by : her parents, Evelyn Jackson Copeland and William Lonzo Copeland; her son Paul Keith Lane; and her sister Pauline McNealy. She is survived by : her husband Everett E. Carter; her children, Maria Lane of Marlinton, Loretta Eason of Fenton and William Lane of Jacksonville; and her siblings, Margaret Jarvis of Wilnfield, Tom Copeland of Oregon and Lonzo Copeland of Edwardsville. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
