She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Blackford Waddy and E. Naomi Waddy; her husband Francis R. Figel; and her brother Paul J Waddy. She is survived by: her children, Victoria L. Farmer (Vince), Liz E. Taylor (Sean), F. Robert Figel (Julie) and Christopher T. Figel (Gina); her brother Richard L. Waddy (Julie); her grandchildren, Megan, Matt, Quinn, Brandon, Gabrielle, Kaitlin and Patrick; her great grandchildren, Payton and Charlotte; and her pet Sofi.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
