She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Valentine Spies and Evelyn Mae Herman Spies; and her siblings, Stanley Spies, Deborah Shickle and Cindy Clarke.

She is survived by: her children, Shannon W. Manning, Mark E. Manning and Tamala J. Manning; her brothers, Glenn Spies (Tillie), Wayne Spies (Lois), David Spies (Sandy), Donald Spies (Tina) and Danny Spies (late Michelle); and her brothers-in-law, Harvey Clarke and Terry Shickle.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bedington United Methodist Church (580 Bedington Rd, Martinsburg, WV 25404). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
