She was predeceased by : her parents, Van Thomas Harris and Claire Semmes Laskowski. She is survived by : her husband Wayne Aaron Appenzellar; her brother Dr. Thomas Van Harris (Diane Van Arsdale); her nephews, Jacob Dixon (Caitlyn) and Aaron Dixon (Rebecca); her brother-in-law Mark Appenzellar (Alison); and her father-in-law David Appenzellar.
