She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell E. Griffin, Sr. and Helen E. Mitchell; and her son Kenneth Griffin. She is survived by: her children, Shanae Harris and Jamal Griffin; and her siblings, Robert Griffin and Maria Griffin Smith. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
