In loving memory of Margaret E. Bane of Martinsburg, West Virginia, who departed this world on May 20, 2025 at the age of 95. Margaret leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Margaret is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Margaret's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Baker and Margaret Roxanna Rentch Beard; her husband Jack M. Bane, Sr.; and her son George R. Bane. She is survived by: her sons, Rodney C. Bane of Salisbury, MD and Jack M. Bane, Jr. of Portsmouth, VA; and also Phyllis Linville of Charleston, WV.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (327 W King St, Martinsburg, WV 25401). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pleasant View Memory Gardens (2938 Charles Town Rd, Martinsburg, WV 25401).
