She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas W. Underwood, Sr. and Catherine V. Kisner Underwood; her brothers, Charles T. Underwood, Thomas W. Underwood, Jr. and Michael P. Underwood; her former husband Jim M. Hodge, Sr.; and her daughters, Sandra Lynn Hodge Cruz and Norma "Bird" Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy M. Hodge, Jr. and Patricia Hodge Baker; and her brother Robert Underwood. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Margaret Ann Underwood Hodge, 82, went home to be with the Lord in the early evening of October 3 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
Born September 26, 1940 in Martinsburg, WV she grew up with four brothers.
