She was predeceased by: her parents, William Everit Boyer and Margaret Mabel Boyer (Myers); and her siblings, Jenny Mauck, Henry Martin Boyer and Wayne Boyer.
She is survived by: her husband Norval G. Johnston, II; her sons, Norval G. Johnston III of Fishersville, VA and Stephen C. Johnston of Martinsburg, WV; her grandchildren, Nathan Johnston of Fishersville, VA. and Kendra Johnston of Fishersville, VA.; her siblings, William Boyer, Jr. of Brownsville, KY and Lynn Walker of Brownsville, KY; her brother-in-law Hunter Mauck of Clarksburg, MD; and her siblings' children, Coni Cooper, Marta Swisher, Margaret Spear and Mark Shields.
