He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Eugene Kerns, Sr. and Dorothy Marie Hite Kerns. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Swain Kerns; his daughter Maggie Marie Kerns of Martinsburg; and his siblings, Edgar E. Kerns (Mary) of Capon Bridge, William E. Kerns (Tami) of Gerrardstown, Marie Faircloth (Gerald) of Gerrardstown, Mae Faircloth (Lonnie) of Gerrardstown, Sandra Ann Barry (John) of Falling Waters and Teresa L. Foster of BunkerHill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
